Kali-Ki Reiki is a new lineage of Reiki healing energy.
Expanding on the traditional Usui Reiki, a series of healing symbols and practices were added to create Kali-Ki Reiki.
The new material was transmitted from Divine Source to Kalisara, Joni Dittrich, PhD, beginning in 2008 with the most recent symbol received in 2013.
What is Reiki Energy?
Reiki is the energy of the Life Force that can be tapped into to heal body, mind and spirit.
Reiki is seen as the shimmering Light of Consciousness and is felt as love.
Reiki is the energy of the divine feminine and of the Christ consciousness.
It is the greatest power of all.
How Does Reiki Heal?
When we tap into Reiki energy to heal ourselves and others, love fills the emptiness and mends the tears of broken bodies and hearts. Body, mind and spirit are renewed.
Reiki restores balance to all the systems of the body.
Creating profound relaxation, the natural healing properties of the body are activated in a Reiki healing.
Stress is relieved and clarity of thought and intention create a sense of well-being and optimism.
Reiki heals through healing touch and at distance through time and space.
Anyone can learn to do it.
‘Kali’ of Kali-Ki
The ‘Kali’ of Kali-Ki refers to the esoteric yogic understanding of Kali as the power of consciousness, or Shakti which is the source of manifestation and the impeller of time, space and substance.
As the feminine force of the divine, Kali is one with all compassionate and fierce Great Mother energies (Mary, Shekinah, Tara, Quan-Yin, Gaia.)
‘Ki’ of Kali-Ki Reiki
The ‘Ki’ of Kali-Ki Reiki is the Japanese word for our life force energy that is transformed, rebalanced and realigned to promote healing. ‘Ki’ is like the ‘Chi’ of Q-gong and Chinese meditation as well as the ‘prana’ or life-force-breath of yoga and Ayurveda.
‘Ki’ refers to that subtle energy which activates and maintains the functioning of the body, mind, and spirit of the individual.
The Sacred Yoga of Healing
Kali-Ki Reiki is considered the sacred yoga of healing as it brings union (the true meaning of “yoga”) to body, mind, soul, and consciousness, thus promoting optimal health and functioning.
Reiki practice is “inter-spiritual” in that it can be integrated into any religious or scientific framework that honors the mystery of the inner workings of consciousness and manifestation.
Kali-Ki ®Wisdom School
Kali-Ki Wisdom School was founded by Kalisara (Joni Dittrich, Ph.D.) in 2009 to teach Kali-Ki Reiki and traditional Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki.
The theme of the School, “Healing into the Heart of Consciousness” suggests that Kali-Ki Reiki is a path to both spiritual awakening and physical and emotional well-being.
Kali-Ki Wisdom School provides training in all levels of Reiki and meditation practice, from beginner to the Sacred Flame Advanced Master. Training can be in classes or through individual mentoring, in person or at distance.
Kali-Ki training draws on the wisdom of the world mystical traditions--embracing Christ consciousness and shamanic healing techniques that include the use of sound, crystals and movement.
Students take this training both to be healers and simply for advancement on their spiritual path.
Training includes initiation through a series of “attunements.” Kali-Ki Reiki practitioners learn symbols and practices that promote healing and wellness on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
These symbols are light-forms that vibrate at frequencies. They tap into the vibratory frequencies of the physical body as well as what in Yoga is known as the subtle or energy body.
Beginner level training
Beginner level training familiarizes the student with the basics of energy healing.
A student learns how to give Reiki to self, loved ones, and friends.
At the more advanced levels, instruction is given:
- to send healing at distance,
- to address specific issues in need of healing,
- how to protect and increase your own energy, and
- how to use Reiki as a pathway to spiritual awakening.
At all levels, Kali-Ki Reiki clarifies and advances one’s understanding of the nature of the self and of one’s purpose in this lifetime.
As the awareness of the Kali-Ki practitioner expands and sensitivity to subtle energies increases, a regular meditation practice becomes essential. Meditation training and initiation is offered at all levels of Kali-Ki Reiki training.
Students who regularly practice both Kali-Ki Reiki and meditation become more adept healers and experience more positive changes in their lives. Practitioners remain grounded in the face of adversity.
Meditation and Reiki together truly strengthen the spiritual muscles so that transformation occurs in tranquility and there is spaciousness for more joy and equilibrium in life.
These practices are truly liberating.
We call Meditation and Reiki the two wings of Kali-Ki Wisdom School because together they allow one to fly.
Kali-Ki is not just a healing method or a school, it is also a strong community, or what in yoga is called kula. Kali-Ki practitioners meet with one another in person and at distance to share Reiki healing and Reiki stories.
We have a meditation and healing circle that has met weekly for nine years. There are also Kali-Ki Meditation Days and retreats throughout the year.
In community, we tap more deeply into the healing energies that flow through us, in us and as us.
We are teachers and students to one another. We are here to support each other and all the communities each of us is part of, including the great community of this Earth.
The power of community magnifies the Light within each of us and is the true meaning of Namaste.
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and science."
